I’m Mark Rider, an entrepreneur, educator, and change agent with a strong background in business transformation, commercial operations, and organizational leadership. My career has been defined by one core strength: integrating complex systems and making them accessible to others, whether it's aligning business strategy with execution, leading high-performing teams, or, more recently, helping organizations incorporate AI in a way that delivers real value.

I have spent more than two decades leading and growing businesses across industries, from founding an aviation training company to serving as President and COO of Modern Marketing & Commerce, where I led a 220-person team to generate over $1 billion in sales during the height of the pandemic. My expertise spans transformational change, commercial excellence, organizational development, and strategic growth, helping businesses not only adapt to change but capitalize on it.

My passion for innovation and impact led me to launch Accent AI, a firm designed to demystify AI for small businesses and social enterprises. We don’t just talk about AI. We help organizations implement it in a practical, accessible, and transformative way.

Beyond my work with Accent AI, I serve as the Endowed Chair of Entrepreneurship at SUNY Geneseo, where I mentor the next generation of business leaders, guiding them to think boldly, act strategically, and lead with purpose. I’m also pursuing a doctorate in social entrepreneurship, deepening my expertise in aligning business success with social impact.
